Obviously 2010 has come and gone. As I write these words it is Thursday 18 February 2016. The term blog is a contraction of the term web log. The original concept contained the idea that a blog was a kind of public diary or journal allowing all the prima donnas (strictly "prime donne") in the world to inflict their dubious outpourings on all the other prima donnas - an orgy of "I'll look at yours if you look at mine".
Consequently, when you go to most blogs, the first thing you see is the most recently written (or posted).
It makes no sense to me to present 2010 in that order. If that were the case, the first thing a visitor would see is an entry for the Grand Final Replay (or possibly a post about the aftermath, or 2011, or the departure of Mick Malthouse). The entry after the Grand Final Replay would be an entry for the (first) Grand Final; and so on. That seems daft to me.
I have spent more time than I think is reasonable looking for a way to control the order of a blog. I entertained any platform (blogger, wordpress, others) - until I came across this:
How do you have blog entries arranged oldest first?
... It can't be done if it's free-hosted by any of the major blog providers.
Since I'm not prepared to pay, I'm stuck with the suggestion the reference makes: fiddle with the dates. Consequently, if you look at the section called Blog Archive, it looks as though this entry (post) was written 3 Dec 2015. (You probably can't see it, but I can. However, the URL will start http://thefootybogan2010.blogspot.com.au/2015/12/, where the last two components represent the year and month of publication.)
So, if you can bear that unpalatable kludge, the rest should be straightforward.
If something causes you grief, contact me. You can leave a comment or email me. (You can only email me if you know my email address, and you'll only know that if I know you.)
